Birmingham Cathedral

This event will be one of quiet reflection with music from Birmingham City Council Choir and Birmingham Cathedral Choir, plus a live broadcast of the service to be held at Westminster Abbey from 10pm -11pm.

The vigil is part of Lights Out 14-18, a UK-wide event which invites people to turn off their lights from 10pm until 11pm, leaving on a single light  or candle for this shared moment of reflection to mark the time at which war was declared on Germany in 1914.
