The commemorations will begin with a two-minute silence by the Hall of Memory. The programme of entertainment will include: a 1940’s themed fashion show, hair and make-up workshops, a tea dance, school workshops, a re-enactment of the Royal Family balcony scene, Veteran’s Parade, street party, make do and mend workshops, and a sing-a-long.
