LIEUT. C. J CADMAN (KILLED)
Lieutenant Charles J. Cadman, Royal Engineers, a brother of Professor Cadman, of 67 Wellington Road, Edgbaston, was killed in action on January 26. Lieutenant Cadman, who was a son of Mrs. Cadman, of Llandudno, was formerly a student of mining at Birmingham University. He joined the Royal Engineers as a private on the outbreak of hostilities, and went to the front in the early days of the war. He was awarded the Military Cross at the beginning of last year, and was also mentioned in despatches.
