MUNITION GIRLS AND THE STRIKE THREAT.

Women munition workers factories in Birmingham hare passed the following resolution:— “The munition girls in this factory unanimously and indignantly condemn the unpatriotic action of the engineers in threatening to strike at a moment when our beloved country is in the very gravest danger. They demand that the Government shall comb out all fit men of military age to fight for their country. They pledge themselves on the home front to do all in their power to assist the Government and our gallant men fighting on land and sea, and thus enable them successfully to resist and finally defeat our barbarous enemies.”

The women munition workers at the Edith Cavell Projectile Factory have also passed a resolution of protest against the strike threat, and pledge themselves to carry on the production of war material costs.
