THE LADY MAYORESS’S LAND GANG

The Birmingham Women’s War Agricultural Committee wish it to be understood that when the Lady Mayoress’s Land Gang is employed in the cultivation of land attached to privately-owned houses all produce resulting from such labour must be considered as the property of the committee, to be sold in the open market or privately as the committee may decide. Money accruing from the sale of such produce will be used to meet the cost of cultivation. The committee will be glad to consider on their own merits any applications for the use of the Gang for cultivating waste plots for gardens attached to any houses or buildings commandeered by the military, naval, Red Cross, or any other public authorities.
