A snooker pool handicap and break competitor in aid of our Soldiers’ Christmas Box Fund, held at the Court Restaurant, Corporation street, Birmingham, has proved a big success. The organiser, Mr. C. Tabberner, has worked energetically, the play has been keen and interesting, and the financial result highly creditable to all concerned, £20 having been paid in to provide Christmas cheer for the boys who are “doing their bit.”
