ASLEEP AT WORK

John Tame, 3 back 249, Herbert Road, Small Heath, and J. Woolley, 68. Ralph Road, Saltley, were summoned before Lord Ilkenston (Stipendiary) at the Birmingham Police Court to-day for neglect of work. Defendants were employed as stokers, and were working nights. It was alleged that both were found fast asleep near the boiler, the gauge of which only registered a pressure of 2lb. They were each fined £3 and costs.
