Lord Mayor’s Show

This year’s Birmingham Lord Mayor’s show on June 6 commemorates the role of Women and Faith in the First World War.

There will be a series of talks in the Council Chamber from 12 until 4.30pm, including Joss Musgrove Knibb on ‘A Time Traveller’s Guide to the Trenches’, Richenda Roberts on the artist Joseph Southall, and Jahan Mahmood on the contribution of Sikh, Muslim and Hindu soldiers.
