Things are going on steadily and satisfactorily.  The new army is going over to France soon, and K with it and then things will begin to move.

Lloyds are insuring against the war continuing after April at a low rate I think.  There have been one or two air raids by the Germans mostly unsuccessful.  We heard today of a terrible earthquake in Rome. 12,000 killed, 20,000 inured the paper says.  Daddy says he thinks the loss of the Formidable was due to some fault in construction.  The Bulwark was of the same type.  Turkey soon had several army corps wiped out by the Russians.  They are trying to attack Egypt through Palestine now I believe.
