Advances in centre and both wings; the Allies are slowly gaining ground.

HMS Hawke, an 1893 cruiser with a compliment of about 500, has been sunk by a torpedo fired from a submarine in the North Sea.  Only 52 are as yet reported saved.  At the pictures tonight we saw Belgians outside Antwerp and Indians at Marseille.  The Indians were not very distinct, I should think it was taken from an upper window, but everyone could tell they were fine men by their easy, swinging march.  We also saw scenes from the Battle of Lebbeke, chiefly artillery, one battery was in action.
