FAMOUS FOOTBALLER’S ILLNESS

Jesse Pennington, the famous West Bromwich Albion full-back, has been operated on for appendicitis in a Birmingham nursing home. It is scarcely probable that Pennington will be in a hurry to start football again, and the likelihood is that he will not be seen in the field during the coming season.
