FURNITURE STORES

AMPLE ROOM FOR SOLDIERS’ GOODS IN BIRMINGHAM

The Estates Committee of the Birmingham City Council have investigated the problem of the storage of the furniture of married men who are called to the colours. After consulting the local Warehousemen and Furniture Removers’ Association, they have decided that there is, or will be provided, ample accommodation in the city at reasonable charges. At Tuesday’s meeting of the City Council therefore, they will recommend that it would be unwise for the Council to undertake the work.
