VISIT OF INDIAN OFFICERS TO BIRMINGHAM.

Yesterday a party of ten Indian cavalry officers who are now in this country on leave from the front paid a visit Birmingham under the auspices of the India Office. They were accompanied by a British officer, and were received at New Street Station shortly after ten o’clock Captain Hilton. They proceeded to the Council House, where they were introduced the Lord Mayor (Alderman Brooks) and welcomed to the city by his lordship. Subsequently they visited several munition factories, and at one them were entertained to luncheon. Later in the afternoon they returned London.
